BECOMING AN APPLICATOR

There are two means of operating a Permachip Business:
  1. The principal contract used within the group is a LICENSED APPLICATOR The Agreement allows an approved applicator to enter the business, providing the individual or organisation meets certain standards. There are no minimum business requirements, but there is also no exclusivity of the business within a specified boundary. There are standards that must be met relating to standard of workmanship, content of promotions, and representation of the name Permachip. Under this method of operation there are no ongoing Royalty fees.

  2. The second contract used is a FRANCHISE AGREEMENT. The Agreement allows an approved applicator to enter the business as above, but with the added responsibility of achieving a minimum volume of product purchasing, or business sales turnover (variable upon each area) on a monthly basis. There are also ongoing Royalty Fees payable each month, which may be either a fixed monthly sum, or a percentage of sales (variable upon each area) on a monthly basis. If such minimum business requirements are not met the Franchise Agreement can be terminated.
In all cases there is a requirement to invest in sufficient machinery, stock training and sales tools in order to operate the business. The need to invest sufficient time into initial training is to understand the application techniques and general business philosophy.

Owing to the effort involved from both the Permachip organisation and the Applicators who apply the products, Permachip Designer Coatings Ltd seeks to appoint only suitable applicants to each area who are likely to maintain a viable business.
