Permachip Designer Coatings offers a range of products which are able to be utilised by Plant and Maintenance Engineers, with particular reference to Expansion Joints, Crack Repairs, Anti Skid floor coatings, Change and Toilet Facilities, offices reception areas and canteens for most projects. The following links to products identify the uses they have: Resilliflex: A Semi-Flexible Hi build substance for placement into joints and cracks. It is a three component system, with either Epoxy or Urethane, dependant on requirement. The surface is tough, with excellent abrasion resistance, making it ideal as a surface for use by forklifts and vehicular traffic. Designed to provide a permanent solution for heavy duty concrete floors subject to heavy loads. The substance can also be included into any of the coatings listed below, which makes them also semi flexible. [ more info ] Mono Colour Epoxies: Highly functional coloured epoxy coating. Performs extremely well as a high build protective coating for concrete, concrete blocks, hardies cement sheet, and plaster. Outlasts conventional paint films by 4-6 times. Possesses excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of substances. Available in a wide range of colours. It’s strong, hard wearing and chemically resistant nature makes it suitable for vehicular traffic and forklift use, or other hard wear environments. The coating thickness varies depending on the required, which begins with the smooth finish (not anti skid) at 400 microns, to a highly textured high grip surface at 2.5 mm, with a range of finishes in between. Ideal for use as a surface where a low cost coating is required. [ more info ] Ceramic Stone: An aggregate filled epoxy/urethane coating. Performs extremely well as a decorative, anti skid floor coating for concrete, concrete blocks, hardies cement sheet, and plaster. Possesses excellent chemical and abrasion. Available in limitless colour blends. It’s strong, hard wearing and chemically resistant nature makes it suitable for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The coating thickness is 2mm. The coloured granules consist of translucent silica quartz aggregate, which is coated with coloured Ceramic, fired onto the aggregate surface in a baking oven process. The granules are extremely hard measuring 6.5 –7.0 on the MOHS (measure of hardness scale). [ more info ] Lino and Vinyl Coating: An anti skid, and/or permanent ‘polish’ system for yinyl, rubber and linoleum substrates. Is applied as either a gloss, semi gloss, or pigmented finish. If the floor requires anti skid properties, anti skid granules are added to enhance the co-efficient of friction to above that required by the New Zealand standard for wet areas. If the application does not need to be anti skid (dry areas) the surface can be applied as a permanent ‘polish’ system, which does not need the regular maintenance of stripping and re-waxing. Corporate Logos: All of the products above can have corporate logos, or custom designs such as animal figures, fun designs, words etc incorporated into the finish. This adds immense visual appeal to any flooring area, and can re-enforce company imaging into peoples mind, particularly appealing for areas where clients enter and leave premises, or or fun areas such as rumpus rooms, change facilities, playgrounds, etc. [ more info ]
